Everyone comes into this game with biases, I personally chose going Caldari simply because they looked cool. But being in this game for a month so far I've noticed direct differences between races yet I've never been really able to define them to a good point.
I'm going to give a brief of observations on all the races, I want to hear everyone's opinion on what race is the best for ships based on their best explanation.
Caldari
-Their ships rely mostly on CPU based add-ons, having the most CPU power and the most Mid-slots of any race out there, and the least Low-slots.
-They rely on more shield strength than hull strength, of which they have the least as well as the worst structure Hp.
-Their Industrial Ships are very simplistic and are some of the best, IMLO.
-They have the least amount of Drone carring capabilites.
-According to statistics on the Map of EVE they're one of the more popular races in EVE.
-The race's favourite turret is the Railgun, but their ships usually have more Missile Launchers than any other.
-Their ships look the most "human" out of all of them.
Gallante
-Their ships have the most Drone space out of any race in the universe.
-They have the most Structural sound ships.
-One the most popular races along with Caldari.
-Middle ranged CPU, Power, Shield and Hull.
-Favour blasters, and turrets over Launchers.
-Roundest ships
Minmitar
-Favour projectile turrets.
-Fastest and smallest ships, with alot of sharp points.
-Like Gallante, they have middle ranged fittings.
Amarr
One of the most off-balanced stat races out there, they have
-The most hull Hp
-The least shield Hp
-The most Cap points
-The most Powergrid points and the least CPU points.
-The smallest amount of Med-slots, the highest amount of Low-slots.
-They lean towards pulse turrets, over launchers.
-"Beetle" like ships
So that's my best description of all the races in ten-minutes, critize as you like, and be as biased as you want. Find out which race is best suited to do what!
